Each carrier and 3PL has their own methods of handling login and authentication for getting bills of lading, proof of delivery, and delivery status information. Once you have the proper information entered from your carriers into the Carrier Credentials  forms, you can use our API to get information from any of your carriers.

A. Duie Pyle

  1. Create or log into your MyPyle account
  2. The email address used for MyPyle can be enterered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

ArcBest / ABF Freight System

  1. Create or log into your ArcBest account
  2. After signing in, retrieve your "api id" at arcb.com/apps/api
  3. The "api id" can be enterered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Averitt Express

  1. Create or log into your Averitt Express account
  2. After signing in, retrieve your "API Key" at tools.averitt.com/asecure/api-dashboard
  3. Your API Key can be enterered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Dayton Freight

  1. Create or log into your Dayton Freight account
  2. Follow step 2 of the Dayton Freight API docs, and email customerservice (at) daytonfreight.com to add any / all relevant accounts to your web credentials.
  3. Then visit your Dayton Freight Profile, and ensure that "Enable Web Services / Developer Integration?" is enabled
  4. If you do not see the "Enable Web Services / Developer Integration?" option, follow step 2 at Dayton Freight's API Documentation's Quick Start page by emailing Dayton Freight's Customer Service.
  5. After enabling web services, you can enter your Dayton Freight username and password into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Estes Express

  1. Create or log into your estes-express.com account
  2. Email Estes Express as described at estes-express.com to get a ClientID and Secret
  3. Your username, password, ClientID, and ClientSecret can be entered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

FedEx

  1. Create or log into your fedex.com account
  2. Visit the Fedex Developer Portal Projects list, and register your organization.
  3. After registering your company, visit My Projects again, and "Create API Project".
  4. Select your company type, then select "Track API", and complete the creation process until you see "API project overview", and can select "Test Key" and "Production Key". If you get stuck, visit My Projects will let you create or select your earlier project, which will bring you to "API project overview"
  5. Select "Production Key", then "add shipping account" for any relevant accounts you want to add.
  6. After adding any relevant shipping accounts, you'll be presented with your "API Key" and "API Secret", which you can enter into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Old Dominion

  1. Create or log into your odfl.com account
  2. After logging in, you can find your "Account Number" at the OD Reporting Dashboard. Your odfl.com Username, Password, and Account Number can be entered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Oak Harbor Freight Lines

  1. Perform steps 1-3 at Oak Harbor's Web Services API Setup process, if you have not done so already.
  2. After making your request to Oak Harbor, you should receive an API Key in your email from oakh.com
  3. The email address that the API Key was sent to, along with the API Key can be entered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Pitt Ohio

  1. Create or log into your pittohio.com account
  2. Email APIsupport (at) pittohio.com per their instructions to "request an IRV to gain access to LTL Shipment Tracing with ETA by PRO, and B2B Image Retrieval by PRO"
  3. Your Username, Password, and IRV can be entered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

R+L Carriers

  1. Create or log into your rlcarriers.com account
  2. After logging in, visit the API Tools page at R+L. There, if you haven't already registered for API access, you will find a registration page for your company, which you will have to have the appropriate person fill this out at your organization.
  3. After you have API access, visiting API Tools will show "Your API Key", which can be entered into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Saia

  1. Create or log into your saia.com account
  2. After logging in, you can enter your saia Username and Password into the Carrier Credentials form like:

Standard Forwarding

  1. Create or log into your standardforwarding.com account
  2. After logging in, you can enter your Standard Forwarding Username and Password into the Carrier Credentials form like:

XPO

  1. Create or log into your xpo.com account
  2. After logging in, visit developers.ltl-xpo.com, and hit "sign in" in the upper-right corner, which should automatically sign you in.
  3. Then, we need to enable certain APIs for your account. Visit the XPI API catalog, where you should "Subscribe Now" to Imaging, Shipment Tracking, and Rating. Note: after each subscription, you may need to go back to the API Catalog to "Subscribe Now" to other APIs.
  4. From here, you can visit XPO's Manage Subscriptions page, then "show" an Auth Key.
  5. You can enter your XPO Username, Password, and any Auth Key into the Carrier Credentials form like:
