Each carrier and 3PL has their own methods of handling login and authentication for
getting bills of lading, proof of delivery, and delivery status information. Once you
have the proper information entered from your carriers into the Carrier Credentials
forms, you can use our API to get information from any of your carriers.
Follow step 2 of the Dayton Freight API docs, and
email customerservice (at) daytonfreight.com to add any / all relevant accounts to your web credentials.
Then visit your Dayton Freight Profile, and
ensure that "Enable Web Services / Developer Integration?" is enabled
If you do not see the "Enable Web Services / Developer Integration?" option, follow step 2 at Dayton Freight's API Documentation's Quick
Start page by emailing Dayton Freight's Customer Service.
After enabling web services, you can enter your Dayton Freight username and password into the Carrier Credentials form like:
After registering your company, visit My Projects again, and "Create API Project".
